About Karen

Karen Orlosky has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2003. During massage school, she was introduced to Reiki and CranioSacral therapy. This introduction fostered further study in both areas. She is now a Reiki Master, and continues studies with the Up Ledger Institute in CranioSacral therapy. Her love of horses led to Sara Stenson and The Art of Equine Massage College. Working with people and animals provides a wonderful experience, lending an exquisite balance to her practice.

Reiki and CranioSacral are both gentle healing arts, done with clothing on. Reiki is a Universal Healing Energy brought to us by Dr. Mikao Usui. Through his lineage bearers, Reiki was brought to the USA and now many people are able to utilize this practice of self healing in their efforts to care for themselves. One can receive a treatment, as well as receive Reiki I and II attunements to facilitate self healing. Reiki adds a powerful yet subtle component to Karen’s massages that is individual in its experience.

CranioSacral therapy is also a gentle technique, facilitating the body’s natural healing ability. It is a light touch therapy shown to be effective in supporting the central nervous system so your body can self-correct and heal naturally. Karen studied CST I in massage school, incorporating techniques into her massage.

After completing the Equine Massage Certification course, she revisited and completed the Upledger Core Program CranioSacral I & II and SomatoEmotional Release I & II. This consists of four levels of study and includes certification in CranioSacral Therapy. This technique has also become an integrated part of her massage on both people and animals, due to it’s powerful support of the individual in their efforts to self heal.

Due to its gentle, non-invasive nature, children of all ages can benefit from CranioSacral as well.

  1. Hi Karen,

Darla indicated that you are coming to recycling center from 2:20 – 4pm. I was hoping to schedule myself for 30 mins, from 3pm-3:30?

    Thanks to confirm….Lou Perez
